About the Fogarty Foundation

The Fogarty Foundation was established in May 2000 by Annie and Brett Fogarty. The aim was to establish a fund that would benefit our direct community through encouraging endeavours in excellence through education, the community and in life.

As the Foundation moves forward, the core idea has been refined to ‘deliver education opportunities that support people to achieve their potential and inspire community leadership’.

We focus our investment, energy and skill on initiatives with a strong education basis. We aim to foster a sense of leadership, and we look for maximum impact through the sharing and dissemination of knowledge and skills.

Financial investment is only one means of assistance and, as the Foundation matures, we believe we can also contribute by encouraging others to join in the spirit of philanthropy and share our knowledge and connections.

To assist in achieving this ripple effect, the Foundation is evolving a portfolio of capabilities that we will draw on to maximise the use of our resources, including financial, intellectual and networks.
