Community Engagement

The Foundation continues to meet formally and informally with other organisations to share our knowledge, discuss needs within our community and how we can work together to achieve positive social outcomes. Some of these organisations have included The Ian Potter and Myer Foundations in Melbourne, Australia Children’s Trust, EON Foundation, Social Ventures Australia, Curtin University, the Minister and staff within the Department of Education,  Lotterywest, Rio Tinto and Stockland.

Trustees have participated in a number of conferences, forums and ’round table discussions’  to encourage a more effective philanthropic culture in Western Australia.  Two members of the Foundation sit on the Boards of Independent Public Schools. and the Foundation has been instrumental in establishing a “Giving Circle” in a Perth suburb.
