UWA Fogarty Scholars meet and mingle with the Premier of Western Australia the Honorable Colin Barnett MLA, and Professor Alan Robson Vice Chancellor of the University of WA.
The Leader’s Series Breakfast held at the University of WA club on 5th August 2011 was attended by 150 guests who took up the opportunity to network with and get to know Scholars, leaders and distinguished invitees. The audience was representative of Ministers of Parliament, The U.S. Consul General, Senior Corporate Leaders, Senior University Leaders across the State, Leaders of Not for Profit organisations and influential individuals.
The theme of Leadership was highlighted with the personal sharing of their own experiences of being a leader, by both guest speakers. This stimulated considerable interest, inspired questions and valuable answers for scholars and invited guests. A superb breakfast meal was enjoyed by all attending.
