Life Skills for Life

 in partnership with Surf Life Saving WA

Proudly supported by the Fogarty Foundation,

Life Skills for Life was developed in partnership with Surf Lifesaving Western Australia (SLSWA) to educate school children with the valuable life skills of resuscitation and first aid.

With the assistance of the Catholic Education Department SLSWA now deliver the program to every Year 7 student in catholic schools across the state.

With the success of the program, SLSWA has been able to extend the delivery of the Life Skills for Life into the public and independent education sectors.

Since its inception in 2006 the program has now reached in excess of 11,000 students across Western Australia.

The program includes a first aid manual for the class and the school and resources for the teachers to continue the first aid and resuscitation learning experience through follow up classroom activities.  The students are encouraged to continue their training  which will benefit their communities will into the future.
