The Graduate College of Dance Fogarty Foundation Scholarships

In its pursuit of excellence since 1973, The Graduate College of Dance has led the training of classical dance in Western Australia and now enjoys national and international acclaim as a leading school of classical dance.  Former students are presently dancing with West Australian Ballet, Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company and Royal New Zealand Ballet, to name but a few.

Young dancers are able to pursue full-time vocational training by combining a training program  with an academic education.  The Fogarty Foundation Scholarship, established in 2004, is awarded to talented students who require financial assistance to continue their training.  Presently four students enjoy the benefits and security the scholarship provides. Now totaling eighteen (18) since 2005, the scholarships carefully combine a graded eight year dance training program with the academic education.
