Premier’s Science Awards 2025: Applications Now Open
The Fogarty Foundation is proud to support the 2025 Premier’s Science Awards, celebrating excellence in STEM education and community engagement across Western Australia. As a bronze sponsor, we are delighted to champion two key award categories that align closely with our mission:
- STEM Educator of the Year – Schools
- STEM Educator of the Year – Tertiary
These awards recognise outstanding educators and initiatives that are inspiring the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers and STEM leaders. From classrooms to lecture theatres, these individuals are shaping the future of Western Australia’s knowledge economy through high-impact STEM education.
Applications for the 2025 awards are now open and will close at 10:00 AM AWST on Monday 28 July 2025.
We encourage nominations from educators, institutions, and community organisations that are making a significant contribution to STEM engagement and learning. Whether you’re leading a transformative program or know someone doing exceptional work, this is a unique opportunity to celebrate dedication, creativity, and impact in STEM education.
As part of our ongoing commitment to education and innovation, we’re pleased to share that Laura Potts, our Program and Communications Manager, will serve on the judging panel for this year’s awards.
Winners will be announced at the Premier’s Science Awards Ceremony later this year, receiving recognition from across government, industry and the education sector, as well as a share of the $140,000 prize pool.
For more information about the awards, eligibility criteria and how to apply, please visit the Premier’s Science Awards website.
The Fogarty Foundation looks forward to celebrating this year’s nominees and their contributions to building a brighter future through STEM.
