Welcome to our new CEO Elizabeth Knight

The Fogarty Foundation is delighted to announce Elizabeth Knight as our new CEO. 

Elizabeth is a UWA Fogarty Scholar alumnus and a passionate advocate for young people. She brings to the role a decade of experience as an entrepreneur and innovator in the education, startup and youth sectors in Western Australia. 

During her university studies, Elizabeth founded Purposeful, a startup and social enterprise empowering young people to find their place in the world and career pathways they are passionate about. Since its inception in 2019, Purposeful have impacted over 20,000 young Australians through their purpose and career discovery programs, designed to redirect students towards purpose-driven career pathways. 

Elizabeth has a strong passion for leveraging technology and innovation to enact vital social change. She is an experienced facilitator and driver of strategic transformation and organisational change, having worked with local and state government, schools, tertiary institutions, NGOs and industry through Purposeful and the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia.  

She is dedicated to empowering young people to realise their full potential and is driven to make the future of education equitable, aspirational and purposeful for all young people. 

We are excited to welcome Elizabeth to the role, effective this week.
