What is Educated?

EDUCATED is an annual event hosted by the Fogarty Foundation. In 2025, we partnered with the UWA Public Policy Institute to bring together educators, policymakers, school leaders, and community advocates for a vital discussion on the future of education in Western Australia. Following the release of our 2024 discussion paper, this event aimed to spark meaningful conversations on the challenges and opportunities in the sector. More than just an annual gathering, EDUCATED serves as a catalyst for ongoing dialogue—calling on all stakeholders to collaborate, inform policy, and reinforce the value of teaching as a profession essential to WA’s future.
