I am looking for a dojo in my area. Can you help me find one?

To find a local dojo visit the Zen platform on the CoderDojo international website – zen.coderdojo.com./find. All dojos around the world are registered on Zen. Simply enter your city or locality and you find a list of dojo’s operating in your area.  Each listing will have the location, contact details and meeting times of the dojo. Find a local dojo here, then join us on Facebook and sign up to our mailing list for connections, ideas and support. Learn more about CoderDojo WA on our website.

I have heard great things about your school improvement program and am wondering if this would be suitable for my school?

Our Fogarty EDvance program has seen exceptional results in improving student educational outcomes. Generally, the schools in our program serve a disadvantaged community, with an ICSEA of ~990 or below, or have more than 250 students in the bottom quartile of advantage. We work with both government and non-government schools in both metro Perth and regional Western Australia. To find out more about our School Improvement Program, visit the Fogarty EDvance website. 

Do you have volunteer positions at the Fogarty Foundation?

Yes, we do have limited positions available for work experience and internships. In order to register your interest in volunteering with the Foundation please contact our Executive Officer, Caitlyn Fogarty at caitlyn.fogarty@fogartyfoundation.org.au

I am interesting in applying for your scholarship program at UWA. What are the requirements?

Each year 10 new UWA Fogarty Scholarships are awarded to WA’s brightest and most engaged high school graduates. Scholarships are awarded on 3 criteria including academic achievement, demonstrated excellence in at least three areas of arts, community service, leadership and sports, and demonstration of the competencies of a UWA Fogarty Scholar. I would like to support the Foundation’s work improving education opportunities in Western Australia. Do you have deductible gift recipient (DGR) status?

I would like to know more about the scholarships at ECU for study in Learning Difficulties

The Foundation partners with Edith Cowan University to provide scholarships and prizes in the School of Education. Scholarships are provided annually to teachers to undertake post graduate studies in the Graduate Diploma or Masters of Education Learning Difficulties. How do I get involved in the UWA Postgraduate Research Forum?

The UWA Postgraduate Research Forum provides Higher Degree by Research students with an opportunity to showcase their education-related research and receive valuable feedback from the education research community in Western Australia.
