The Fogarty Foundation is committed to ensuring that all young people in Western Australia have the opportunity to receive a high quality education.
For every person, education is the pathway to opportunity – providing skills for better employment and improved health, life opportunities and wellbeing. And it enables the whole society to prosperous, provide meaningful work and to be able to support those in need.
We live in a rapidly changing and increasingly digital world – we are now globally connected with greater access to information and potential for advancement. We need to ensure that education keeps up with these changes and that requires us to look at education differently, not just a preparation for a job, but as a life project. For this we need a world class education that is engaging and relevant.
It is in the interests of our nation, and it is our responsibility, to ensure that all children receive the education they deserve.
